Chicken Tikka Masala

Try this quick and easy chicken tikka masala recipe with fluffy rice and naan bread. Pair with some poppadom’s and chutney to start and you have yourself a fakeaway! All ingredients available at your community EUROSPAR supermarket.


  • 450g chicken breast
  • 3tbsp masala paste
  • 2 x 400g cans chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli's
  • 200ml double cream
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Steamed rice and naan to serve




  1. Place the tikka masala paste and chopped chicken breast into a large bowl and stir. Marinate for 10-15 minutes or cover and chill overnight.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the chicken and onion for 5 minutes until it begins to brown.
  3. Add the chopped green chilli and canned chopped tomatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Stir in the double cream and a pinch of sugar and warm through.
  5. Serve with steamed rice and naan bread.
