Poached Egg with Toast

Ingredients 

  • 1 egg  
  • 1 slice of bread of choice 
  • Salt and pepper

Method 

  • Add water to a small pot and bring to the boil.  
  • Whisk the water to create a swirl/vortex and crack egg into the centre. 
  • Cook for 3 minutes.  
  • Carefully remove egg from boiling water and place into chilled water.  
  • While cooling, toast and butter bread.  
  • Place poached egg onto toast and season with salt and pepper.
