Method 
- Combine eggs and milk in a wide bowl. Add a pinch of salt to season. 
 
- Heat butter in frying pan over a medium heat.  
 
- Dip bread slices into the egg and milk mixture until soaked through but not soggy.  
 
- Move bread slices to pan and fry on each side until golden and crisp. 
 
- Remove from pan set onto a plate. 
 
- Serve as is (with some salt to taste) for a savoury option or add crispy bacon and maple syrup/fresh cream and berries for a sweeter breakfast.
