Devilled Eggs

Ingredients 

  • 6 eggs  
  • ¼ mayonnaise  
  • 1 tbsp mustard  
  • ½ tbsp whote vinegar  
  • Salt and pepper to taste  
  • Paprika for garnish

Method 

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water (about 1 inch above the eggs). 
  • Bring water to a boil and cook eggs for 10 minute. 
  • Move the eggs to a bowl of ice water and leave them for at least 5 minutes to stop cooking and make peeling easier. 
  • Peel the eggs under running water. 
  •  Slice peeled eggs in half lengthways and gently pop out the hard yolks into a bowl. 
  • Mash the yolks with a fork. Mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth. 
  • Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
